Etymologically, the word “science” emerged within the 14th century and originated from the Latin word scientia that means information. On the opposite hand, the word “expertise” is the compound of two Greek words—techne (ability, craft) and logos (logic, word, speech), used for describing artifacts and methods in making them, and was formally tailored in 1859. Later, although the ideas of the two phrases modified to some extent, their basic meanings have been preserved.
